Students, these are the guidelines for wearing Halloween costumes.
• Costumes may not be demeaning to any person or group based
on age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, nationality, race,
religion, sex, sexual orientation, or to any individual staff or
employee.
• No weapons or replica weapons are to be brought to any District
property.
• Individuals may not wear clown masks. Further, no makeup
(including clown makeup, which will completely obscure the
identify of an individual may be worn on any District property.
• No gang attire
• No masks may be worn.
• No costume may be worn that is unsafe or that may create a
safety hazard. Costumes may not impair an individual’s
movement.
• No bare midriffs or “revealing” clothing
• Costumes cannot promote the use of drugs, alcohol, or weapons of
any kind!
If any costume is determined to be inappropriate by the administration,
students will be asked to change
